All new Singer Sewing Shop students take an "Introductory Class"
that teaches the basics of the sewing machine.... how it works, why
it works, what it can an can't do. Also included in the
First Class is pattern reading and sewing terminology. It is also
a good chance to meet your
teacher, and decide if you want to continue.
Singer Sewing Shop will provide you with a simple pattern to make
a skirt (recommended for first time sewers) or draw-string pants,
or you may bring any pattern of your own.
You do need to provide fabric and matching thread for your project.
Classes are weekdays in the morning, afternoon, and evening and also
Saturday.
Call 991-5151 or email
for scheduling information.
All Continuing Classes are "go-at-your-own-pace", with lots
of individual attention. The
others in the class will sometimes be doing a completely different
project, which provides
excellent opportunities to broaden your sewing experience, as we all
learn from each other.
All classes are filled on a first-come-first-served basis, and cannot
be reserved without
pre-payment. Reservations con be made up to three(3) classes in advance.
If you need to
cancel a class, Singer Sewing Shop needs 24 hour notice to credit
you for a future class. Call
or come in for next class opening.
